We recently had the pleasure of welcoming back a cherished member of our Glen Waverley Golf Club family, Brian Huxtable. Brian, who was a golf professional from 1967 to 1982, paid us a visit for the first time since leaving his professional role at the club.
At 90 years old, Brian was accompanied by his daughter on a tour of our facilities. It was a heartwarming experience as he witnessed the new developments and improvements that have taken place over the years. His happiness and delight in seeing the club's progress were palpable.
Brian's visit was a reminder of our rich history, we are grateful for his contributions and thrilled to have had the opportunity to show him how the club has evolved.
