Golf Tip of the Month

Build pressure inside your trail leg to gain more consistent ball striking

Many of us golfers think about what our head, shoulders, arms, hands and wrists are doing in the golf swing, but never pay any attention to what we are feeling with our feet. One of the most common causes of inconsistent strikes is lateral movement off the ball and in most cases this starts with the lower body sliding away from the target. And when a golfer does become aware they are moving off the ball they generally go about fixing the problem the wrong way and develop a reverse weight shift. If you fall into either of these bad habits, please watch the video below where I’ll show you a simple exercise to create a powerful strike without excessive movement off the ball.

If you need any assistance with your game, reach out to Paul or myself to book in a lesson. Golf’s more fun when you’re playing well.
