Introducing our new manager, Chris!
Meet the Riverside manager, Chris Mulcahy, who has a rich background in sports and community development.
Originally from Boston, Chris embarked on his career teaching tennis at the Longwood Cricket Club and coaching future olympians at the Waterville Snowboard Academy. His academic journey led him to study Exercise Science at Plymouth State University in New Hampshire and Urban Planning at Portland State University in Oregon.
Boasting a decade of experience managing Portland Parks and Recreation's tennis and sport courts, Chris has been a catalyst for fostering sports enthusiasm within the community. Holding coaching certifications in tennis, pickleball, and community golf, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the sports arena.
In late 2022, Chris embarked on a new adventure, relocating to Aberfeldie with his wife Laura and daughter Maggie, reuniting with their family who hails from the area. This relocation marked a significant chapter in his life, intertwining their dedication to sports with a commitment to building vibrant and inclusive communities.
