On Monday 8th May the driving range closed for a total of nine days. Throughout this time, the team completed the renewal hydro-seeding works and the seeding was able to settle prior to reopening.
The driving range reopened on Tuesday 17th May.
The purpose of the renewal works was to apply hydroseed, which will increase the grass coverage through the middle of the golf driving range, resulting in lower mud areas. Through removing these muddy spots, there should be less golf balls being stuck in the ground, and therefore less manually removed.
What is renewal hydro-seeding?
Hydro-seeding is a planting process that uses a slurry of seed and mulch. This will reduce the interruption to services throughout the wetter months, allowing for improved operations and overall customer experience.
Our team would like to thank you for your patience and understanding during these much needed works.
